What are your symptoms?

Shaking leg
Weakness on my right side
Small handwriting
Recall issues
Loss of balance

How did you hear about Punches 4 Parkinson’s (P4P)?

Through a good friend who’s son is a Boston FireFighter with Lieutenant Ryan Roach.

How important do you feel it is to stay physically active while living with Parkinson’s?

Extremely important. If I miss a couple days of not exercising I can feel it in my body

How has training with P4P impacted your symptoms?

I feel it has helped to keep my symptoms from escalating at a faster rate. It has helped my balance, coordination and strength.

Have you ever boxed before P4P?

I have not

Besides for training your body, how else does the organization support you?

There is always lots of information put out there, events to help raise money and awareness. Most importantly I have a whole network of supporters and new friends who have dedicated themselves to fighting PD.

What does the organization mean to you, and how has it impacted your life?

I feel like I can beat this crazy disease. I’m also not alone, which is really important for my mental health.
