Punch for Parkinson’s depends heavily on support from the community in order to provide resources and training access to our Warriors. One of the most common ways we raise money is through Giveaways and Games. Below please find some answers about how these work. Thank you in advance for your support!

Is Purchasing a Ticket Tax Deductible?

Purchasing a ticket to a Giveaway or the Queen of Hearts Drawing is a tax-free donation.

Do I Have to Pay Taxes if I Win?

Winnings over $300 are subject to taxes. Punch 4 Parkinson’s WILL NOT be responsible for taxes. Queen of Hearts game winners will receive a 1099 and be responsible for reporting all earnings.

How Will I Collect on a Prize I Won?

Prizes will be mailed to the address listed on the entry form within 5-10 business days.

How is the Money Used?

All proceeds from the drawings and 25% of the pot from the Queen of Hearts Contest go directly to the organization Punch 4 Parkinson’s and support costs associated with no-contact boxing rehabilitation programs at various gyms.

Are There Any Limitations for Who Can Purchase Seats?

No employees or volunteers of Punch 4 Parkinson’s are eligible to enter and win.
